Hamdan bin Mohammed opens Gitex Tech Week 2017

Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened today the 37th edition of Gitex, the Middle East's largest and popular technology exhibition.
Sheikh Hamdan toured the exhibition floor and attended the signature ceremony of a deal between Etisalat and Dubai Municipality that aims to replace paper ticket with a smart phone system, across the recreational facilities operated by Dubai Municipality.
The five-day Gitex Technology Week is showcasing live demonstrations of next-generation technology solutions from governments and international companies that will transform the Middle East businesses.
Spread across an area of over 1.4 million square feet, the organisers expect over 100,000 visitors from more than 60 countries to take part, apart from more than 126 speakers and 1700 exhibiting companies which will redefine how technology can transform businesses through cutting-edge showcases, international keynotes and dignitaries from around the globe in attendance.
