Hamdan bin Mohammed opens smart police station at La Mer

Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened today at La Mer, jumeirah the second Smart Police Station (SPS) in Dubai. Dubai’s first SPS was opened last September at City Walk.
Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri and his team briefed Sheikh Hamdan on the fully automated operations and services offered by the station.
Major-General Al Merri said The smart station will operate 24/7 and offer 27 key services, including reporting of crimes, traffic incidents and community services. It will also provide 33 fully automated sub-services.
La Mer SPS also receives labour complaints, home security requests, human trafficking crimes, victim support, fine payment and others police services.
Dubai Crown Prince expressed his happiness for the development achieved by Dubai Police and their effort to keep Dubai a happy and safe city. Secretary General of Dubai Executive Council H.E. Abdulla Al Basti accompanied Sheikh Hamdan during his visit.
